I…

• Got a kindle from the hubs for my birthday so that took up a lot of time.   Like most.
• Watched Sons of Anarchy.  Kind of love it and kind of want to punch it in its face.  It makes me ragey but I became terribly invested in it which also makes makes me ragey on another level.  So.
• Watched all of Weeds.  That was taxing.
• Read The Hunger Games.  That was AH-MAZING.  Well, the third one I have some issues with but generally speaking, LOVED it.
• I worked.  A lot.
• The hubs’s grandfather has Alzheimer’s and he moved in with his mother so we’ve tried to help out when we can.  It’s been difficult.
• I have been cooking like CRAZY.  I am fully obsessed with food blogs and trying new things.  Goop’s cookbook is terrific, btw and my most favorite blogs are Annie’s Eats and Joy the Baker.  During the hurricane a few weeks ago all I did was cook (thank you gas stove).  It was kind of amazing, actually.  I made cheese souffles!  They rose and everything.  I was quite proud.
• And, finally, I had a goal to open a business when I turned 35 and so that happened and hopefully - fingers crossed - I will have all my i’s dotted and t’s crossed come November 1st.  So that’s my big, exciting life news.  It’s a big leap, it’s scary, I’m still keeping my jobs but this is what I love and what I would love to actually do so when it’s more set in stone, maybe I’ll share. 

And because this is a tumblr about my obsession about TV, here’s what I’m watching this fall (bolded are favs, italics are hopeful):

• HIMYM (temporary - they have 3 episodes to win me back)
• Terra Nova (not my choice - I have to throw a bone to the hubs)
• 2 Broke Girls (um…we both have a crush on Kat Dennings?)
• Hart of Dixie (Scott Porter, Cress Williams…need I say more?)
• Castle (yay tonight!!!)
• Glee (I have low expectations but I look forward to Quinn with pink hair.)
• Ringer (SMG.  I’m there.  As long as they no longer use any more green screens.)
• New Girl (saw the Pilot, enjoyed it!)
• Raising Hope (OMG did you see the commercial of Hope dressed up like King Kong?  BEST)
• Sons of Anarchy (SIGH.  I need to talk to someone about how much this show frustrates me and yet how much I like it.)
• The Middle
• Modern Family
• Happy Endings (I’m so happy it’s back!  Even if it delays Cougar Town which I miss soooooooo much.)
• American Horror Story (Connie! Like I wouldn’t watch it.  Jessica Lange, Russell Edgington…the commercials are great.)
• Community (I hope it turns around. I think it will  New cast additions and Chang’s development should help, I think.)
• The Vampire Diaries
• Parks & Rec (OMG GET BACK IN MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!!)
• The Office (I’m actually curious about what they’ll do and I enjoyed Spader in the finale.)
• Secret Circle (The pilot wasn’t anything too original and I’m not the biggest Robertson fan but I’ll give it a shot)
• Prime Suspect (I am always on board with a show like this starring a woman.  I hope Maria Bello works for me because I really want to like it.)
• Fringe (OMG GET BACK IN MY LIFE!!!!!!!!)
• Supernatural (I don’t even care, at all, actually.  But I am seriously looking forward to the Charisma and James ep.  That’s it.  Nothing else.)
• Grimm (We’ll see?)
• Boardwalk Empire (The hubs.  Although I do enjoy Richard Sparrow and his half of a face.  I hope he makes out with Margaret.  CAN he make out with her?  OOOH I HOPE SO.  Otherwise, show, you are dead to me.)
• The Walking Dead (3 episodes or they’re done.  I don’t have the patience for another The Killing nor did I enjoy the first season at all, actually, but I’m willing to give it another chance because I’M GIVING.)
• Pan Am (The hubs, OBVIOUSLY.  I should be grateful it’s not The Playboy Club)
